This is a painting by Jim Holyoak. It has been hanging in my house for likely 20 years. The other day I lifted it off the wall and saw that on the back he had written a short segment of the story that eventually became part of the 500 page epic story of the character Book as told in Book of 19 Nocturnes, 2024. I sent the picture to Jim and he said “Wow! I remember writing that text on the back of the painting up at Summit Hill when I was an undergrad student!“
