Speculating on a tiny virus
flask had the opportunity to collaborate with artist, theorist and writer Jeanne Randolph in the production of a 64 page, soft cover, sewn bound artist book titled Parking Lot Pandemic.
The book was created in conjunction with the artist’s exhibition at Paul Petro in Toronto (2021). In photographs and text, Randolph’s peripatetic musings focus on the early days of Covid. Walking through the empty streets of downtown she speculates on a tiny virus that brought the populace to a standstill.
